A day in Konoha was often described as a day in which nothing's impossible. It was a sunny and very warm morning, the sun came up at exactly 5 'o clock, a moment only few could witness. One of these so called 'fans of earlyness' was Amaya Uesugi, a Jounin of the Leaf Village. Never in her life did she sleep long, sometimes she just didn't do it at all!
Yet today was a very important day, one which she had circled with a red pen on her calander. Althought crossing that one out was for the moment impossible. There she was, standing by a large willow tree, the Jounin awaited the arrival of her quiet late team, or so she at least thought about them.
Dear [Genin's name],
You have been selected into Team #32, lead by your future sensei, Amaya Uesugi. Meet me at 6:00 AM in Konohagakure's residental forest. Be late and you will pay.
Sensei, Amaya Uesugi.
The message was sent 30 minutes ago. Meaning that the letter should be there at approximetly 5:50 AM. All was planned, a punishment was already being prepared by Amaya, while she patiently waited. Sitting on a sawed off stump, waiting for those bundles of laziness to finally arrive, she would slowly start counting the extra sit-ups they would have to do.

Hoshi was with Saya-chan, and Serph was on the ground after the Haruno member beat him up. The happiness, the beautiful sky, the birds singing, the message… The message? Opening his eyes, the genin awaked from a wonderful dream. A man was just outside his bedroom window, which led directly to the village streets, apparently waiting for him to open it. A message for me? No one sends me messages… What time is it? Slowly opening the window, the sun illuminated his eyes strongly, which made the boy close them a little more than they were already.
“Good morning. I was told to give you this.” Said the man handing him a piece of paper.
Filled with curiosity, Hoshi quickly opened it.
Dear Haruno Hoshi,
You have been selected into Team #32, lead by your future sensei, Amaya Uesugi. Meet me at 6:00 AM in Konohagakure's residental forest. Be late and you will pay.
Sensei, Amaya Uesugi.
As euphoria took over, the boy started making questions for himself. Team 32 huh? Will Saya-chan be on the team too!? Is this another dream? Amaya Uesugi? 6:00 AM? Be late and you will pay? Wait a minute…
“Excuse me, could you tell me what time it is?” If the jounin didn’t stated which day they were supposed to meet her, did it mean it was today!? As the man answered “5:48”, Hoshi thank the man, which was already starting to walk away. It could only be a joke! How was he supposed to get there in less than 12 minutes? It was a mistake for sure. Maybe the jounin confused the numbers while writing the message, or maybe not… The best thing to do now was to get back to bed, but he wouldn’t be able to sleep thinking that at 6:00 AM, there might occur a meeting where he could find out who his team mates are. Trying not to fall asleep, the boy took a quick shower before eating breakfast. Back in his room, he dressed up and attached the weapons pouch and shuriken holster to his clothes. Picking up the forehead-protector, the genin carefully collocated it on his neck. Hoshi left a note to his parents, informing them where he was going and what he was going to do there. Already outside of the house, he started walking towards the forest.
There weren’t many people in the streets, and on his way, he could only think in one thing. Saya-chan. She had to be on his team. That would be like wining the lottery three times in a row!
Only when he was at the forest entrance, he noticed that his future sensei had not specified the exact place of the meeting, so even if he did not wanted to, Hoshi had to find Amaya Uesugi in the middle of all those trees...

Had only the sun just risen, Nara Kaoru jumped out of bed and swiftly into her clothes before the sun completely arisen and her household becomes complete pandemonium. Knowing that the Nara clan was usually abuzz with activity, especially in the late days of gathering, Kaoru wandered out the front gate, just as an old messenger Kaoru recognized vaguely as their mail delieverer. She cocked her head, set her purple locks combed around her shoulders and stared as the old geezer promptly placed a letter upon her hands.
Dear Nara Kaoru,
You have been selected into Team #32, lead by your future sensei, Amaya Uesugi. Meet me at 6:00 AM in Konohagakure's residental forest. Be late and you will pay.
Sensei, Amaya Uesugi.
The letter appeared a bit...grim. Kaoru took a quick peek at the time in the watch rested on her hands. It gleefully read "5:48" about what was usually her wake-up time. But knowing how punctual Amaya-sensei usually was, it was probably a good idea to get there before any real trouble started.
Kaoru hopped off, jumping from tree to tree in the heavily wooded areas of her clan's manorhome. It was the shortcut taking her straight to the forest.
However, her sensei was no where to be seen through the thick trees and somehow Kaoru didn't really feel like scouting the entire area for her sensei. If she sat there and waited, maybe she could spot one of her teammates and they could direct her to Amaya-sensei.
"Geez...she could have specified EXACTLY where she's be..." Kaoru complained as she flew through the air, hopping across a path of trees.
In the far distance, a familiar head took resemblance. It was Haruno Hoshi, the one Kaoru had been slightly attracted to throughout her years in the academy. It wasn't that Kaoru was ugly or unattractive, it was that she was an outcast and that was probably the reason she never caught Hoshi's eye.
"Hoshi..." Kaoru whispered to herself and landed.

[OOC: OK I'm not posting until both Hoshi and Kaoru grow common sense.
Hoshi, are you honestly trying to tell me you are able to get dressed, prepared for ninja training, grab food, and run to an unmarked area in the forest in 8 minutes. Oh, and instantly waking up. You do realize this is a surprise message so your startled behavior may work on some aspect but you would hardly be prepared. Running around getting ready should take 10 minutes alone. I mean morning pee, sniff the clothes to see what's clean (you are a guy) put them on, find ninja gear, get bread...BAM, right there it should be over 8 minutes for someone who got a surprise message....and that is if you are completely calm!
To the contrary Hoshi is in la-la land daydreaming about him and Saya, you gotta be as giddy as Mike Foley looking at Teen Dream magazine(had to look that magazine up for the record.) The fact is simply finding the spot in 12 minutes in a giant forest alone is difficult.... you got ready and found it in 8....
FOR SHAME!
Kaoru, I have almost the same issues.... especially considering you sauntered..... You would not only be late but 30 minutes late at minimum.
Common sense is a necessity people. Learn it and use it for the sake of my ever loving brain.]

5:51 AM. Most compassionate, hell most psychotic human beings would appear as docile sleeping babies. Apparently compassionate psychopaths had nothing on the insanity of Konoha’s local fanatic. This is why at 5:51 when the letter addressed to Uzumaki Ijoufu was delivered to his home he was not there. Now some people would spend time in their house, ninjas would normally spend at least their nights in their casa. When the messenger peered inside it looked more like a gigantic walk in closet than a home. Where could that damn genin be? Perhaps, could it be he doesn’t even really live there? No, the village was paying for his house how could he accomplish such a brazen disregard towards the village? In fact the only piece of furniture that seemed to be touched was the fridge. So just to prove his point the messenger opened the fridge. WHAT! Didn’t he not live here?! Lo and behold the fridge was filled. Not filled with simply junk food. No, he was stocked with fresh ingredients. They were no more than a day old, and enough for 2 meals. Was this kid this psychotic?! Wait…. 2 meals?!“Bob” (we’ll call the messenger that for now) looked out the window. There you could see it, a small puff of smoke in the distance, it appeared to be adjacent to the training grounds. It was 6:11 by the time Bob found Ijoufu. Surrounded by what looked like a breakfast commercial was Bob’s target. With only half of the marvelous meal done Ijoufu was readily going at the food. A drool filled question splurted (Yeah, I know it isn’t a real word, shove it.) out of Bob’s mouth, “Uzhoomahkee Eejoof…. Is that an omelete?!” The platinum haired genin looked up towards the St. Bernard/Ninja hybrid with a perplexed gawk. “Uh sir, may I ask why you must drool over my breakfast?” Bob quickly responded with a spitty-slurpy and an outstretched hand, in that hand was the worst message Ijoufu could have asked for. The message was not bad since he was accepted in a team, it was bad because he was already late. Within 2 seconds after opening the envelope the Looney Toons-esque dust cloud was present with a fleeting “Eat up!” following Ijoufu’s mad dash. He was late, he was in trouble. When he reached the forest he had on clue how to find his teacher…… only way was to minimize time. “KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU! KARYUUDO NO JOUNIN!! (Jounin Hunter)” Forming a makeshift huddle the plan was uttered, “Find the jounin 42 toss on 3…BREAK! DOWN, SET, HUT, HUT, HIKE!” There they/he scattered through the forest looking for their/his sensei. __________________________________________________ OOC: Feel free to interact with one of them it most likely won't be a real one.

As he continued to search the forest for any sight of the woman that should be enjoying herself because of her subordinates lateness, Hoshi began to wonder what he should do. If he continued to walk, he wouldn’t know if he was walking on the right or wrong direction. But he couldn’t stop. If he did, he would never find Uesugi Amaya and the rest of Team 32.
Hoshi was always alone during the time he studied at the ninja academy. What will happen if his team mates don’t like him? He wouldn’t stand to be left alone by his own team members… His eyes were now looking at the ground and a sad expression appeared in his face. It would be awesome to have Saya-chan on the team, but luck wasn’t really a thing Hoshi could brag about. The motivation and excitement he had earlier, was slowly fading away.
When a noise came from the boy’s right side, he swiftly lifted his eyes from the ground to see what it was. At first, the genin could only hear the sound of some leaves moving, meaning that someone or something was on a tree nearby. But it all became clear when a silhouette jumped from a tree, landing softly on the ground. After a better look, it was easy to identify the silhouette as a girl, but it was her purple hair that made Hoshi realize he was looking at Nara Kaoru. Where her reasons to be in the forest at that time of the morning, the same as Hoshi’s?
Without knowing what to think or do, Hoshi just stood there, looking to the girl that could be one of his team mates.

Kaoru peered at Hoshi, as he eyed her, merely standing there...
"Is this how you greet everyone?" Kaoru asked, with an annoyed hasp in her tone. She hated when people stared at her like some freak that just cannot get over the fact that some people's hair just happened to be purple.
Even though the fact was she was infatuated with Hoshi since her late academy years, no matter how much she liked him, a person just gaping at her drew the lines. kaoru prefered to be left alone and hated the attention that was drawn on her.
"Don't tell me...you got a letter from Amaya-sensei?" Kaoru asked, with amazement in her tone.

"Infidelts!"
Shouted out the Jounin in more then just anger in her tone. She was both nervous, enraged and utterly annoyed. Being late was what she hated the most and although all of this was already planned she did not hesistate to show her rage in a clearly hearable way. With eyes like those of a hawk she scouted the area, no enemies, no genin, not a single soul was there. Her grumpy voice echoed through the forest, maybe it would help those lazy shinobi get their behinds here.
Constantly she watched at the clock she had brought from home. It would serve as not only the judge and evidence for their lateness, but also for something which would involve their future tasks. Surely, you could say she was time-obsessed, but breaking the watch wouldn't really bother her, she had a lot more in her house and she constantly checks them all, one by one so that not a single clock would show the wrong time.
Impatiantly she tapped her staff on the solid ground, not for fun, not as a pasttime, simply out of anger. She swore to herself that if those genin wouldn't arrive here in less then 20 minutes the punishment would be twice the joy.

Math was not Ijoufu’s best subject in school, in fact, outside of sports statistics he knew nothing of how the whole subject worked. He did know that 22 people could cover the whole forest faster, and more efficiently than 1.
Ijoufu FS, the bunshin who had been assigned the free safety position was the first to spot Amaya-sensei. Instantly he took the initiative to “poof” back to “coach” Ijoufu, who was no more then 3 minutes away at full sprint. ZAP! The information flooded his mind of the things his clone had seen, and instantly he took off towards his sensei. Soon the other bunshin were rejoining their memories and experiences, combining with Ijoufu’s. As Ijoufu ran full tilt towards his sensei he received the appearance of who his teammates were.
Hmm it appears MLB Ijoufu saw two other players around my age. They must’ve been my teammates, well If they are I’m sure I’ll see them soon enough.
Ijoufu nearly bowled into his teacher. His momentum, the moist morning soil, and the dewy leaves on the ground forced Ijoufu to slip as he nearly careened into first his sensei than a tree.
“Uzumaki Ijoufu reporting for training Amaya-sensei! I apologize for my tardiness and will gladly work off my delay as penance. Would 100 of the base training (OOC: push-ups, sit-ups, mountain, climbers, and squats.) per minute be acceptable to Amaya-sensei?!”
Ijoufu immediately assumed the push-up position and began rattling them off. “1 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 3 – 1 – 2 – 3….” Ijoufu understood his tardiness was Amaya-sensei’s wasted time. In any sport wasted time meant more work. This would be no different for Ijoufu.

The way the Nara girl was staring at him, made Hoshi a little shy. It wasn’t normal to have a girl looking at him like that.
"Is this how you greet everyone?"
After hearing these words, Hoshi’s face became slightly red, and the kind smile he tried to show didn’t turned out very well. Of course that wasn’t the way he greeted everyone, he does it like everybody else does, but for some reason, the boy couldn’t just say that to the purple-haired girl in front of him. What should he say in a situation like this? Since it was the first time that he was going to have a conversation with the kunoichi, it was important to think of what to say so he could give a good impression of himself.
“N-No. It’s just that…” Fortunately for Hoshi, he was interrupted.
"Don't tell me...you got a letter from Amaya-sensei?"
That was it. As he thought moments after the girl landed, Nara Kaoru was a member of Team 32, just like him. But still, the genin couldn’t help being surprised.
“Oh… I see…” Trying not to think about who could be there instead of her, Hoshi preferred not to look at Kaoru while speaking to her. “So, you still haven’t found sensei as well.” He could say many things now that he knew he would spend lots of time doing missions or training together with her. But it would be rude to speak with a sad tone.

Staring at the extremely sadist tone of Hoshi's speech, Kaoru couldn't help but be slightly appalled. She never liked it when people acted timid or shyed away from crowds. Of course, that's what she did everyday...but she was never nervous to speak her mind whenever she wanted.
"Oh...I see..." Hoshi answered her question, barely making eye contact. This frustrated Kaoru even more...
"Hey." She demanded with a determined glare. "I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. Don't act like that I'm a complete stranger when we're practically on the same team."
With this, she walked off and paused.
"Since we're both searching for the same person, why don't we try and find Amaya-sensei together?" She asked, planting a hand on her hips.

Although time passed like normal, to Amaya it was pure hell. It seemed to pass 3, no, 5 times slower then usual. Maybe it was boredom, maybe the sheer fact that her team was late, or both! Whatever it was she couldn't help but complain in her thoughts.
Yet soon after a familiar, ok, maybe not really familiar but at least a face apperead. A blonde haired devil, or was it? With great haste and awareness she searched for the matching image. Then it struck her like a thunder, no, maybe even greater.
"The Kyuubi..."
She mumbled under her enraged breath. Was it true, was this boy the cause of the destruction of Konoha? Could a boy bear the burdon of having a demon in himself? Soon all of this would be answered, but for now.
"Why are you late?"
She asked in a very loud, almost deafening way. Just as she finished her sentance she sighed once, at least one could make it here. Where the others were was a plain mystery.
"So, now that you're late I want you to..."
Her sentance was insantly cut apart as the boy started to do exactly what Amaya couldn't even say. It was as if he read her mind, but of course that was absurd, or was it? No, it couldn't be. She started to rapidly shake her head in both annoyance and a bit of confusion. Later on she stated, in a once again shout-like way.
"THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A PUNISHMENT!!!"

"Hey. I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. Don't act like that I'm a complete stranger when we're practically on the same team."
Kaoru seemed to notice Hoshi’s sad tone, but who wouldn’t? She was right anyway, it was better to start socializing with her, so that both could enjoy each other’s company while in the same team. That could only bring advantages to him, and to start with, a first member in Hoshi’s friend list. But all of this was easier thought than done. It was by this time that Hoshi showed a friendly smile to Kaoru.
“You’re right. I apologize for acting like you’re a stranger, it was not my intention.”
The girl started to walk, and Hoshi followed, like he was somehow supposed to do it.
"Since we're both searching for the same person, why don't we try and find Amaya-sensei together?"
Searching for their sensei together would give them time to learn some things about each other, but if they wanted to find her quickly, they should split up. However, the boy preferred to stay with Kaoru rather than search alone like some moments ago. After all, they were already late, so a couple more minutes shouldn’t make a difference…
“Yeah, sure. I’m Haruno Hoshi by the way. And you are Nara Kaoru-chan, right?”

"Yeah, sure. I’m Haruno Hoshi by the way. And you are Nara Kaoru-chan, right?”
Kaoru spun around slowly, with a smile on her face, as in "you-know-my-name-and-I-know-yours-so-let's-not-talk-to-each-other-now-because-we-already-made-the-introduction."
"Yep. You can just call me Nara-san." She made it clear she did not tolerate any pinchy or sweet little nicknames. "Of course, maybe one day I'll decided to let you call me Kaoru-chan like my real friends do" There was barely any negotiating with this girl...
"We're going to be horribly late if we don't speed things up, by the way." Kaoro examined. The sun had already moved an inch since the last time she calculated it's exact location. "Let's go find Amaya-sensei."
Without warning, she jumped off, ninja style, hopping across branches and laughing. "Hurry up, Haruno! Try to keep up!"
