Rain poured down from the hanging gray sheet that clung to the sky, causing a dreary overcast to diffuse throughout the village. Most people were inside playing games, chatting with friends or just generally keeping themselves occupied with something or another. Except for one, lone genin who now stood, slouched over tightening her grip upon her thighs before hanging her head down to gaze upon the soaked ground. Mud, dirt and grass sloshed together into a dark collage deterring anyone with a right mind to head back inside into the dry.
Shaking her head, water flying off the tips of her hair before she stood tall once again. Grinning at the almost completely demolished kicking block Yakkai unsheathed the blades, making a drawn out shing! ring through the training area. There was a stillness after the swords made contact with the wood, but it was interrupted when the split in half, sliding to the ground with a muffled thud. A bit of envy suddenly popped into her mind at this.
Everyone else. All those other genin passed the exams and were a lot weaker than herself. It wasn't fair. What was it that they had that she didn't? It wasn't fair. The frustration sent Yakkai to stab the swords tip into the splintered wood.
"Damn it." A grumbling bit of thunder rolled it's way through Konoha, the prized city. She was completely drenched, cold and shivering but wouldn't let this day be wasted just by a bit of rain. This weather in turn left her edgy, ready for a fight for the next person to set her off. Any type of training like this would make a person anxious for a scruff to relieve any remainder of anger or some emotion.
"Them new genin. They think they cool, somethin'. Pisses me off..." Talking to no one, she muttered coldly about something that most second year genin thought and loathed.
