I’M APPLYING FOR THE ROLE AS THE CANON FOR SAI, THEREFORE MY RANK IS ANBU…)

**Nickname: none…

Gender: Male
Rank: ANBU (Chuunin)
Specialty: Sojiro specializes in ink paintings which can be brought to life upon his special jutsus.
Home Village: Sojiro’s origin is unknown at the time, but he wears a Konoha headband.
Graduation Dates/Ages: He graduated at the age of 10 for a genin and reached chuunin by age 12. He is presently part of ANBU (I fixed the age problem) but his real rank is Chuunin. (ANBU is sub-rank...)
Personality: Sojiro, the cold-blooded but continuously smiling ninja. He is proven to not to carry emotions due to the face that he was manipulated to care for ONLY the mission’s objectives and nothing else. Although he might not show it, Sojiro is truly a person with a dear heart, but he had troubles showing how he feels. He shows kindness to others, as when using honorifics after their last names, but a make no mistake, that under his pretty boy good looks and obligated humanity, he insults people, giving no second thought about them.
In missions, Sojiro prefers to stay in the lead, and strays away from the others in combat. He is serious about fighting and often he is deceiving. You never know for sure whose side he’s fighting on. He tends to trick people into believing that he is actually fighting on their side, when he really double crossed them…and then to figure out he was actually fighting on YOUR side. Sojiro lacks real emotions and doesn’t seem to care a lot for the others on his team. His objective is the mission and losing a member of the team is merely a sacrifice of the shinobi. “Fight for yourself and no one else…” Is his motto.
Sojiro’s real feelings are sometimes triggered when he paints or someone reminds him of his past. But these events are rare and he only smiles in return. However, Sojiro knows that these feelings are merely disturbances. His mentors have taught him that feelings have nothing to do with shinobi and only the weak harbor feelings. Sojiro also has almost no imagination whatsoever, because his feelings were burdened within him, instructing he share no contact with them.
Likes: ink painting, drawing, story telling, training, reading, flutes, music, missions, riceballs and hot springs.
Dislikes: noisy people, crowds, preppy girls, fangirls… (YOU CAN TELL HE’S NOT A PEOPLE PERSON) parties, tomatoes, mushrooms…
Clan/Organization: He is in no known group except for ANBU. He closely obeys orders from his mentors.
Character Appearance
Eyes: black eyes
Hair: Sojiro had jet black hair, worn freely, just around his shoulders.
Attire: Sojiro’s apparel is categorized as an old fashioned samurai uniform. It often varies when he’s in or out of missions. Normally, in combat, he wears a blue robe and samurai styled sandals. Sojiro also carried a sword with him at all times behind his back. In leisure time, he dresses comfortably in a normal black or grey robe.
Height: 5 ft ‘6.
Weight: about 102 pounds.
Bloodtype: AB. (BLOODTYPE EFFECTS YOUR PERSONALITY)
Family and History
Family: Sojiro has a deceased step-brother named Seta and his foster family, Nobuchiro. His step-father: Nobuchiro Katan, stepmother: Nobuchiro Saki. Currently, he lives with a man merely called “Shinto”.
Family History: Sojiro’s birth clan is still unknown due to being abandoned at birth. His foster family who took him in at a young age was the abusive Nobuchiro clan. Most of them were ninja in the clan, as well as his step-brother, Seta. The clan was not well known and only a few shinobi truly grew from this clan. Most of them were farmers and stone-cutters. Some owned land outside Konoha. Sojiro’s stepfather, Katan worked the fields and was reluctant about sending Sojiro to the ninja academy, but gave in after some pleading from Seta to allow both of them to go.
The main climax of the family conflict started when Sojiro spilled a whole barrel of precious rice. His stepfather whipped him and Sojiro cried which made him whip him even more. Each time Sojiro made a blunder, he was abused and whipped until the day Sojiro thought how stupid of him. It was foolish to cry when he knew if he did cry, it would only result in more beating. So since then, whenever his family beat him, he would only smile, tears rolling down his face. It became easier to bear the burden of this and soon, his emotions were almost completely gone. He only knew how to smile and laugh.
But the Nobuchiro never made life easier. The clan usually blamed many of their financial problems on Sojiro, quoting that if they never took in another child, their money problems would be lifted. Sojiro only apologized with the same grin on his face. The family always abused him and Sojiro always stood up to them with his smile.
Character History: Sojiro was supposedly abandoned at the dawn of his birth and adopted by an ungrateful foster family (Nobuchiro) who mistreat him. But his step-brother, Seta was the only one he respected in the family due to the fact they were best friends and fought together. Seta always complimented and helped Sojiro improve his skills when they fought. But the constant beating of his foster family proved traumatic results. Sojiro learned that whenever he cried, it only made it worse and they beat him up even more. So he devoid his emotions after that and was proven effective in missions when he became an ANBU member.
Sojiro was always a notch down from his step-brother. They fought together and trained at the same pace, but Seta always surpassed him in some shape or form. He grew very self-conscious and his self-esteem lowered. But Sojiro wasn’t always like this…he used to be very confident until his foster family announced that Sojiro could never match up to Seta and it was very clear that this was a waste of money, how they were sending both of them to the academy when Sojiro proved no benefits. It was when they were both 12 years of age and both Chuunin when Seta died.
It was said that Sojiro killed Seta when he took the blow for him in a battle. Sojiro blamed himself and his skills fell, plunging because of his unlocked new emotions. Shortly afterwards, the Nobuchiro clan disowned Sojiro when they felt he wasn’t “grateful” enough for all the nutriment they supplied him. Sojiro moved into a small shack by himself just outside of Konoha, still learning ninjutsu without anyone suspecting the situation he got himself into. In another chain of events, Sojiro was then taken into another family after his living conditions were reported (His shack was badly constructed and he was broke most of the time) this time, it was just an old man, whose background is still unclear. This strange old man lived by himself in an apartment near the Hokage’s carved faces. His name was Shinto and he was the one, who trained Sojiro to rid of his current emotions in battle, saying that they only interfered. At the time, Sojiro was still grieving the lost of his brother and only friend, but Shinto quickly taught him that these feelings were merely interferences.
Sojiro kept a sketchbook with him when he was small. He recorded pictures and drawings of his brother and himself when they trained. But ever since his brother died, the last few pages remained blank, as Sojiro said he couldn’t think of what he was going to draw to show Seta.
Combat Info

Jutsu: Super Beasts Imitation Picture
• Name: Chōjū Giga, 超獣偽画, literally "Super Beasts Imitation Picture"
• Type: Unknown
• Rank: A-rank
Sojiro draws creatures on his scroll, and then uses this technique to animate them. They can then act as the corresponding animal would. For example, a bird can be used for espionage or flight, while a tiger can attack and maul an opponent. Sojiro can also control them for other purposes.
Battōjutsu
rank: B rank
type: kenjutsu
(抜刀術 battōjutsu) is a sword-based Japanese martial art. Generally, schools which style themselves "battojutsu ryu" emphasize the perfection of Tameshigiri cutting technique, as opposed to iaido ryu which tend to focus on drawing/sheathing, or kenjutsu ryu which stress dueling ability.
"Battojutsu" or "iaijutsu" can also refer to the concept of drawing and striking in a single motion. Batto/iaijutsu techniques often involve drawing the saya back and the sword forward, allowing the wielder to begin and complete the cut faster than would otherwise be possible, generally half to three quarters of a second.
•
] While many can confuse Battoujutsu with Iaido, as both involve rapid sword drawing, there are some distinct differences. For one, Battoujutsu is mainly a defensive made up of counter attacks, while Iaido only uses the sword draw to start off a kata with an attack. In essence, hundreds of years before cowboys were having gun drawing duels in the old west, Samurai skilled in battou techniques were doing the same thing but with katanas. Battou styles don't really have any Katas to begin with, as they are a series of sword drawing and resheathing techniques. As with many battou techniques, the sheathed katana is either belted at the waist, or held in the left hand with the right hand on the handle. This allows the user not only to attack with the sword, but also follow up with a blow by the sheath as well as eaiser re-sheating. Another distinct difference between Iaido and Battoujutsu is that one can either use a curved katana or a straight edged katana, depending on the user's skill and/or preference.
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu, •ÖÉí¤ÎÐg, literally "Clone Technique", English TV "Clone Jutsu", UK DVD "Art of Body Splitting"
Type: E-rank, Supplementary
Users: All Ninja Academy graduates
This technique creates a clone of the user, but it is an illusion, not a real copy like the Shadow Clone Technique. The illusions will dissipate when they come into contact with anything. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. To these kekkei genkai, the clones look like balls of chakra. Also, a person with normal eyes can distinguish clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.) with their movement. (basic techique)
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu, ‰ä¤ï¤êÉí¤ÎÐg, literally "Body Replacement Technique", "Change of Body Technique", "Change of Stance Technique", or "Replacement Technique", English TV "Replacement Jutsu" or "Substitution Jutsu"
Type: E-rank, Supplementary
Users: All Ninja Academy graduates
This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise, which Sasuke has done twice, once in the anime and again in the first movie. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
Special: Sojiro has no bloodline, but he does have a special ink summoning that divides with his Super Beast Imitation jutsu. He summons upon a large ink bird on which he rides on most of the time.
Other: Another advantage to being an emotionless person, in combat, opponents usually couldn’t tell what Sojiro’s next moves were because on his face was ALWAYS the same expression. A smile. It made it hard to tell if he was going to strike or if he was nervous or panic-stricken. The same happy face illuminates his power which causes people to under estimate him, resulting in big mistakes because Sojiro is usually the stronger one of the pack.
