Normally Hoshi is kind and nice to everybody. He's calm and can be shy in some situations. Hoshi is quiet and likes to respect everybody. When the subject is Uchiha Saya, he’s “love of a lifetime” things are different. Around her, Hoshi will do many things to get her attention, and would do anything to make her feel the same way about him. He likes to be surrounded by people, although he didn't had any true friend until now, which makes him want to be alone and feel really down sometimes. But when he acknowledges someone as his friend, he will protect and try to make him/her happy. He gets serious sometimes, mostly when fighting, but he might panic if confronted with death. He is not that very courageous. He is a little curious, and attracted to the world of medical ninja.
Inner Hoshi:
Inside Hoshi resides the "Inner Hoshi", which ridiculously seems to be much more ill-tempered than the normal Hoshi. Hoshi's typical gentle responses are juxtaposed with the Inner Hoshi's constant "Shannaro". The phrase has no literal meaning, but is usually translated as "Hell yeah", "Hell no", or "Damn it", depending on the situation.

Family History:
Hoshi´s father and mother are great medical ninja and work at the Konoha hospital. They healed injured ninjas during the kyuubi attack at the battlefield. Now, Hoshi wants to be just like them.
Character History:
Hoshi was born a little before the Kyuubi attack, where his parents healed injured ninjas during it at the battlefield. His childhood was almost normal, he hadn't many friends to play with but he got used to it. Because he spent most of his childhood at home, his parents decided to take him to the hospital sometimes, were he would at least have some company. At the beginning, he couldn’t understand what his parents work consisted in, so he started reading some basic books about medical ninjas. One of them mentioned a meeting that occurred several years ago, where a shinobi proposed to the Third Hokage that the traditional 3-man cell be altered and carry a Medical-Nin.
Finally understanding the world of medical ninjas and with his parents support, Hoshi decided to enter the ninja academy to become a medical ninja.
When he was eight years old, he entered the ninja academy where he happily learned how to be a ninja. In his early school years, Hoshi was timid and was always alone. He was occasionally made fun of and bullied because he always sited near the cherry blossom trees, and the other kids said to him that only girls liked those trees. Until the popular Yamanaka Serph approached and befriended him. Serph explained to him that Cherry Blossom trees were cherished due to its beauty and almost tragically short life span and that they have historically been associated with Shinobi. Hoshi looked up to Serph for his abilities, but while he appreciated Serph's friendship, he couldn't help the feelings of inferiority he induced in him. Their friendship continued until it became clear that both of them were infatuated with Uchiha Saya. Hoshi spent the next years helping his parents in the hospital and studying. His grades were always good, but not enough to be a top student. He finally graduated at the age of 12, wanting to be the medical member of his team and be useful to them. Now he is ready to start doing missions and became stronger.
