I'm making this new character in the hopes to replace Sayikkusu.
General Information[/i]
Name: Hirako Shuuhei
Nickname: Kainashi [Useless] (will be explained later on)
Rank: Genin. 2nd rank of the Rehabilitation Unit. [second highest rank of the lowest unit]
Specialty: Medical Jutsu and Ninjutsu
Home Village: Konohagakure
Graduation Dates/Ages: February 4th - Age 12: Academy
Personality:
"Kainashi? Oh, he's pretty cool. I guess. He's really quiet and a bit weird. He's always in an empty room during breaks reading... or something. I don't really know, nor do I really care."
- Uumida Sousuke
"Oh he's such a cutie! Although... I wish he'd talk more often. Yeah, he's very reserved, but he works so hard. He inspires me, but that's because he worked so hard to treat a wound. It was really nice, and he is too. He's always pushing doors for ladies, and standing up when they arrive. Such a sweet-heart. But he seems a little creepy at times. He just.. watches you sometimes... it's weird."
- Sachiko Mimiru
"Ah, the Hirako boy! Yes, he's quite the hard-worker. Very loyal too... I don't really know why. He seems naive since he just puts his faith in anything. It's a bit refreshing for a dieing patient and for a doctor that needs a bit of help, but it might make leave him vulnerable. Ah, but he's quite the pusher. Outside of the patient's room, or operating room he might seem like some freak, but when he's in his element... boy. He'll stop at no cost to save someone's life, I'll tell you that. We had a flat-liner once, and the boy literally pumped his own blood just to save the patient. He's always the first one here and the last one to leave."
- Dr. Kamino Ukikake
"Such a sweet boy. Very gentle too. He knows how to handle his patients. I just finished a surgery, and boy does he know how to treat my wounds. When he redresses bandages it's as if I feel nothing, and it's so nice and clean. I suppose he's a perfectionist but it's nice seeing someone appreciate quality in this world. Oh, and he's so considerate. I don't even have to ring in for water or anything, he's already a step ahead. I suppose you could say he's a few steps ahead of the game."
- Mrs. Yakame. Room 112 Patient.
"Eh? Hirako Shuuhei? Oh, Kainashi! I dunno about him. I personally don't think he's cut out for this business. As a doctor, I can usually diagnose things fairly quickly and I diagnose that boy with failure. He can rarely spot problems quickly and most of the time is unsure of his decisions. Pretty useless... like his nickname."
- Hirako Kogema
Obviously, we were unable to get anything from Shuuhei himself. He's probably locked himself into a room to avoid us... From what we've collected we understand that Shuuhei is very hard-working and gentle. He's nice and considerate and has every quality of a gentleman. He may not make decisions on the spot but he'll follow through with all his might. It seems that he's a bit of an observer, and will probably tell you what you wore last tuesday, but that's usually good in medic types. He has a lot of unleashed potential, that's for sure.
Likes: Improving, reading, and working. He enjoys sewing as well, or keeping his hands busy. He likes the sound of water when it's poured into a glass and also the feel of dipping one's hand into a bag of uncooked rice or beans. Skipping stones occasionally is very entertaining to him as well as the sweet taste of dango. He likes collecting random things he sees and will usually stop just to look at it, if not pick it up and take it along with him. His pockets are usually riddled with all sorts of knick-knacks and doo-dads many just pass by. He enjoys running through the rain and the feel of wet socks. He likes waking up in the morning and picking the first booger of the day. He likes watching toilets flush or water going down a drain or just the swirling motion in general. He sometimes goes to public bathrooms just to constantly flush them. He's been banned from many places for causing the water to back-up. He likes playing go even though he loses. He just mainly likes the sound when you clack it down perfectly onto the board. He likes the weird feeling of stepping into mud, you know, how your shoes feel like they'll slip right off? Yeah, that feeling. He likes the taste of sour things, as well as spicy things. Whoever heard of "too much wasabi"? Not Shuuhei. He likes finishing up a bowl of soup, slapping it down onto the table, and releasing a hefty sigh of accomplishment. He likes visiting pounds or zoos just to look at the animals and examine them. He'll walk down the street to an appointment, stop, and examine a flower for twenty minutes before remembering what he had to do.
Dislikes: He dislikes looking at milk cartons or anything with expiration dates; it saddens him to think that they'll become useless. He doesn't like hot days because his 'you-knows' stick to his thighs, and everyone knows that's uncomfortable. Despite the rude and arrogant people in the world, he doesn't dislike them. He dislikes riding on bikes, one's legs near chains is just scary to him. He will rarely start a conversation for fear of saying the wrong thing or making a bad first impression; he usually stops and says what he will say in his head a few times before actually saying it, it makes him seem retarded at times. He dislikes people that infantasize him or making him seem less than what he really is. Such as, talking to him with words that only have one syllable and saying them very slowly for him to understand. He dislikes fighting only because it hurts his knuckles. He doesn't like chicken. Something about the taste.. or the lackthereof.
Clan/Organization: Konoha Hospital
Character Appearance[/i]
Eyes: His eyes are normal. Hmm.. how could one describe them. In an anime sense, his eyes are concave to his nose. They are evenly spaces and go at a down-ward slope most of the time, thus revealing his unsureness. His eyebrows are more important, since they reveal more of his emotions most of the time. That are straight and usually go off at a down-ward slope like his eyes. His eyes are fairly proportional to his face, but the iris part seems smaller and thinner.
Hair: His hair is long, fine, and black. From a male's perspective, the hair is long, but it's short in the sense that it doesn't go past his neck. It's flat and has little volume, and ends around his cheek bones. They cover his ears. A few stray bangs may come down his face to about his nose, but they're usually parted away from his face.
Attire: On many occasions he looks as if his mother dressed him. Only because... she does. Other times, he looks as if he dressed in the dark. Only because... he did. But there are the rare occasions where what he wears is just completely off, only due to the fact that he didn't know that it was 100 degrees outside and that a parka was a very bad idea. For the most part however, he dresses comfortably in clothes he usually makes. His work attire, or the clothes he wears to the hospital, is a soothing green shirt and matching pants. Or what they call, "scrubs." He carries a holster around his left leg, yet instead of items of killing like kunais and shurikens, he carries the necessities: Scalpel, scissors, medical tape, gauze, bandages, forceps, tweezers, eyedrops, antibiotic, and... floss. What? You never know when you need it..
Outside of his normal wear and his work clothes, Shuuhei dresses like most shinobi for missions and training sessions. He wears the mesh shirt under a light, forest-green shirt. The neck, cuffs, and bottom of the shirt are a darker shade of green. Dark black shorts complete the outfit as well as the konoha headband across the right arm.
Height: 153 cm
Weight: 45 kg
Bloodtype: O-
Family and History[/i]
Family:
Hirako Kogema - Father: Doctor
Hirako Momo - Mother: Retired shinobi, owner of a sewing shop.
Family History: Hirako Kogema and Tsubiki Momo were a match made in heaven. They met in the hospital that Kogema worked in, except she had a kunai pushed dangerously near her heart when they met. He comforted her with playful jokes and after she had gone through surgery he would visit her often. Well... it is protocol to check on patients... but he did it for a bigger reason. Before she was to be released he proposed... a date. What? You didn't think she'd fall for him that easily, now did you? Anwyays... after a few years of courting as well as many discussions and heated arguments they finally got married. It was quite the momentous occasion. However, they realized that their lives were so hectic. If one came home the other would be away, so they both decided to take it a bit more easy. Kogema took night shifts while Momo only asked for night missions. When she was impregnated however, she still did not stop her shinobi lifestyle. She was threatened many times with the thread of losing her child, but she held her own. Kogema didn't really approve of this, but what could he do? She was a ninja... After giving birth however she decided to retire. So, she hung up her headband and went into the life of motherhood. Kogema too went into a more relaxed lifestyle by going into the post-surgery unit. He would just advise nurses as to what to do and would diagnose any post-surgery sicknesses.
Character History: Kogema had this thing with his child Shuuhei... he wouldn't touch him. Not even in the paternal way like giving a hug or anything. He rarely did anything during Shuuhei's infant years and most of it was left for Momo to do. It wasn't as if he didn't like his child, he just didn't like babies in general. That's why he was a cardiologist. Instead of going to an outside physician, Shuuhei would get his checkups from his father. That moment of contact with his father excited him and thus, his father diagnosed me with a heart disfunction, despite the truth that Shuuhei didn't. As a child, he lived in a world of fantasy and wonderment and would play ninja with his mother. She would tell him stories of dangerous adventures and she eventually became his hero. He wanted to be just like her.
One day, the day that Shuuhei will never forget, his family and he were returning from a vacation at the lake. They were being accompanied back with two shinobi that his mother knew. This very day, Shuuhei would decide he wanted to be more like his father. As they traversed through the forest their party was ambushed by shinobi from Kirigakure. Their accompanying shinobi tried as they might but were defeated, and his mother could only do so much. While Shuuhei's mother fought, Shuuhei watched his father revive the two shinobi. It was so awesome to him how his father could do that. Because of that, they were able to defeat the interlopers and continue on. Although that situation would have been frightening for a boy of 4 years of age, it was such an exciting and adventurous occasion he decided he wanted to do what both his parents do and let them live vicariously through him. He would be a shinobi like his mother, yet have the skills of his father. It seemed like a big decision for a boy his age, but his mind was set. Three years after that incident, he entered the academy.
Shuuhei, as a child, knew the dangers of being a shinobi, yet despite that, he continued on his journey to become one. Every day of the academy was hard, especially living up to the expectations of his mother and knowing the skills like his father as well as competing against the others within his class. He was never really the brightest one, nor was he the idiot of the group. He sat above the "above average" rung. He worked hard and got fairly good marks yet were nothing noteworthy. But it was the academy, they didn't teach medical jutsu. While most kids his age went to just the academy or regular school, he attended the academy as well as a medical school for future shinobi. That is where he exceeded his limitations and proved his potential. He displayed outstanding work and was the best sewer of the class. He could dress and undress wounds like a pro and did well in many of the written tests. When he was ten, the hospital in Konoha asked him to be part of their Rehabilitation Unit. He climbed the ranks quickly and with only two years had gone to become the second best in the unit. Despite have a stressful and tiring life at a young age, he came out to be pretty normal and well rounded. His mother taught him the arts, such as calligraphy, sumi-e, painting, and music. She also taught him design and to look at things in different perspectives to find the right idea. His father taught him to look beyond what one could see in order to find the real source of a problem. With his parents help, he became the "observing" type many see today. Many would say he's creepy for just staring at them, but in reality he only stares so hard to examine the person and to remember them in full detail. Because of this, he usually remembers them more and could tell them what color their eyes were at only one glance at them.
After graduating from the academy, many of his classmates went into teams and completed missions. He too did that, but instead went on a one-year retreat with his father into a medical research group. The traveled around konoha trying to discover various things whilst also learning. It was at this retreat did he gain his nickname of Kainashi or, useless. During one of the night expeditions, Shuuhei was assigned duty to keep watch of the camp. He probably would have done a great job with it, if his colleagues hadn't given him miso soup with turkey instead of normal chicken. And, as many of us know, turkey tends to make us sleepy. Shuuhei is no excuse. He ended falling asleep on his shift and their equipment was completely ransacked. Turns out, however, it was a test and that he was the only one to not realize he had been slipped turkey and a few sedatives. They weren't really ransacked, only meant to look like it, but from that moment on many in the medical field call him Kainashi. After returning from the year long retreat he had finally perfected the technique he was developing, with the aid of his father. It was the technique that suited him, and really represented him. He had thought of the idea after being beat up by a few ruffians when in the academy. He know uses it for more useful purposes.
Combat Information[/i]
Weapons: For missions and training he brings along a few kunais and shuriken, but the aforementioned equipment are his "weapons". He also has a set of senbon just in case. But his acupuncture skills aren't much to brag.
Jutsu:
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Skill
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: The user creates ethereal copies of themselves from chakra that are unable to speak or make contact with an object. They disappear after a single hit.
Rank: E
Cost: 1
Name: Henge - Transform
Type: Genjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: A basic jutsu where the user alters their appearance. Those with a doujutsu (i.e. Sharingan and Byakugan) can see through it very easily.
Rank: E
Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi - Body Substitution Skill
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: A very basic escape jutsu where the user switches places with a nearby object.
Rank: E
Cost: 1
Name: Muscle Disruptor
Type: Medical Ninjutsu
Element: None
Description: This jutsu was actually created for healing purposes but could be used for offensive purposes. By focusing chakra to one's hand and causing it to "vibrate" the user is able to create a pseudo-massaging vibrator. (stop laughing, pervs). Anyways, such vibrations were used to tend to aches and sores, but when used offensively and in the wrong spot could cause muscles to react badly resulting in muscle spasms. Doing such an attack will cause charlie-horse-esque pains.
Rank: D
Name: Stitching Jutsu
Type: Medical Ninjutsu
Element: None
Description: A simple jutsu that is usually required to be learned before learning chiyute no jutsu. It forces the user to using healing chakra, but instead to mold it into string able to pierce skin. It's intention was to stitch and heal most wounds. Due to the healing properties of the chakra, the wound would heal much more quickly with less chances for infection. The jutsu is temporary since it's only chakra. It would have to be redone two hours later unless it gets medical attention
Rank: D
Name: False-Death Technique - Self
Type: Medical Ninjutsu
Element: None
Description: By using chakra, the user is able to cause themselves to "die". Theoretically of course. The chakra will take over many of the bodies functions but not all of them. The body will become motionless and cold and a pulse would be nonexistant, however the synapses in the brain are still "alive" and allow the user to see and hear all that is going on in the surroundings. For sight, however, the user will only look at the same direction for the duration of the jutsu. After the jutsu is performed and the user feels like becoming "alive" a simple burst of chakra to "awaken" the body will cause it to regain consciousness. The jutsu can last for up to 4 hours at Shuuhei's state. Anymore and he could really die.
Jon, if you want to explain it better, go ahead. But, he and I have discussed this and well.. yeah.
