Personality: Houkou isn’t always the easiest person to get along with at first, though she doesn’t mean to offend people. She’s loud and stubborn and always thinks she is right no matter what. Houkou will usually say what’s on her mind and be blunt about things, which can get her into a lot of trouble…but it seems that getting into trouble is one of the ‘fun things in life’. Houkou is naturally bossy, so likes to take charge a lot of the time, the only problem with that is that she had a tendency to not think strategically, so infact she doesn’t make a good leader at all…
However, when people really get to know her she is indeed a loyal friend, who is more then willing to put her life on the line for others. She is not smart and she passed with average grades, but Houkou believes her confidence and self-belief can get her through the majority of hardships. Some would say she’s arrogant, and even stupid…but Houkou prefers to think of it as bravery.
Murasaki’s Personality. Murasaki is a very calm and obedient dog, she seems very docile most of the time a rarely barks (but when she does its usually shrill and high-pitched). Her bite is far worse then her bark however, in the battle swing of things she become very vicious, but never gets out of control. Murasaki can communicate with Houkou through barks and howls.

Character Appearance
Attire: Houkou paints the traditional scarlet triangles on her cheeks to identify her as an Inuzuka. She wears an oversized black jacket over her mesh top, and tight white three-quarter lengths to contrast (she likes to stand out). Houkou wears the usual blue sandals and carries a weapon’s pouch on her left thigh. Murasaki usually likes to sit in the hood of her jacket if she’s not standing beside her owner. (I’ll post a pic once I’ve made one =P)
Hair: Houkou has light brown hair that is cut right to the hairline at the back, but it curtains down into locks that just pass her shoulders at the front, the ends are somewhat untamed, as is her spiky fringe that can sometimes obscure her vision.
Eyes: Her eyes are pretty much thin black slits with no signs of a coloured iris, and quite rightly they look very animalistic, it’s the same with her teeth; the canines protrude far more noticeably then any normal person’s should, and her lips are thin and pale against her peachy skin.
Height Houkou is relatively short at 4’9, but her boisterous personality makes up for her lack of it.
Weight: She’s not bulky nor lanky, just average, and considering her age there’s little sign of curves and cleavage…Not that she minds, she’s not all that interested in boys and make-up anyway.
Murasaki’s Appearance: Houkou’s ninken is a very small dog with a high pitched bark. Her fangs are very long and noticeable against her palette and her eyes are thin oval shapes of black. Her black fur is short and has a rough feel to it, though sometimes it become a purpler colour if she takes soldier pills or gets wet. There are patches of white on her fur around her eyes and on her two front paws. Murasaki’s tail is long and scruffy and is constantly wagging to and fro.

It is unsure of when the clan was founded, but ever since, the clan has been breeding ninken to accompany them in battle.
They are a moderately relaxed family, no clan laws and not much family politics spreading about…but they are dedicated to their specialised training with their dogs.
Character History:
Houkou grew up in the Inuzuku clan in Konoha. Although she was very set on becoming a ninja, the girl couldn’t help enjoying skipping classes to hang out with friends, usually they would play pranks until the sensei’s found them…and of course there was always punishment. Houkou didn’t mind though, as long as she was having a good time nothing else really seemed to matter.
That was until her mother caught on to Houkou’s grades dropping… That was when reality struck and Houkou realised she had some serious work to do if she were to pass the exam. It wasn’t easy before she had a ninken; she had to stick to the basic techniques and weaponry skills until her tenth birthday when she would finally be allowed a companion that her family would breed just for her.
However, it was when she was nine years old after a tiresome day at the academy that Houkou realised she didn’t want a ninken bred just for her. Like usual, it had been a long day of playing pranks and pointing out other people flaws in the academy, while never accounting for hers. That was until one boy had decided to fight back and commented on how she was a part of the Inuzuka clan, but never had they seen her with a hound companion… That no doubt had dampened the young girl’s mood for the rest of the day, and to think she’d have to go back home and face more scolding about her grades…For Houkou it hadn’t been a very good day at all.
As she was walking home the rain was falling in dismal sheets from the dull skies overhead. She didn’t care too much as her footsteps splashed in puddles; she took her time…not really wanting to return home.
Suddenly Houkou tripped and fell head first into a large puddle. Houkou could feel a cold coming on as her body shivered, but something else had caught her eyes. The thing she had tripped over was infact a dog…a very angry looking dog, snarling viciously at her.
Houkou gulped audibly at its vicious fangs, and it wasn’t too long before the dog launched itself at Houkou. She did everything she could to evade it’s bites and scratches. From what Houkou had gathered this hound must’ve been a ninken, considering just how powerful it was…Or at leaset, it had the potential to be…
After a long fight the dog seemed to be getting tired, and that’s when Houkou noticed a large gash on it’s leg…but that wasn’t the Inuzuka girl’s doing.
“You’re hurt.” She finally mustered, and quickly drew some bandages out of her pouch, completely forgetting that this dog had tried to annihilate her only moments before. After attending to the wound the dog appeared to be licking her face in a freinly manner, and treating Houkou like a master. Houkou realised the dog must’ve just been angry and in pain, perhaps treated badly by a previous owner.
Whatever the circumstance, Houkou had still run home with the now much calmer dog in her arms. By the time she was home she was sopping wet just like the dog was, and the rain seemed to be making her fur an almost violet colour. That when Houkou decided to name her ‘Murasaki’.
After plenty of hours of persuading her parents to let Murasaki be her ninken, they finally gave in when they saw her fight against Houkou’s father. Of course this meant she had to train with a dog a year before she should’ve done, but in the end this had proved to be a well-needed blessing, and the two gradually formed an unbreakable bond. Houkou even passed with grades that although were average, where much better then she had hoped for. Since then she had been almost 100% dedicated to her shinobi career, only playing pranks if she had the time and working to her fullest alongside Murasaki in missions.
